Jaclyn is a director, writer and producer who makes richly sound designed films that use humor to explore duality and daily life fears. Her short film Infallible (17 min) a dark fairy-tale, won the Visionary Award at the Visions Film Festival (2011) and she has since directed more than 20 short films, music videos and webisodes.
Notably, Jaclyn directed the psychedelic music video for Jungly (2020) by Aish Divine, which was featured in Rolling Stone and scored over 200K views in the first 24 hours on YouTube. She was also one of six directors selected to helm an episode of Pitch Her Productions first episodic lab, Run-Ins and her surreal drama, Exit Interview (8 min), screened at both the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and the Orlando Film Festival (2017). More recently, she directed Seven Fishes (9 min), a funny drama set on Christmas Eve about mental illness in an Italian-American family, which has racked up 22 official selections, 5 nominations, and 4 awards on the 2021/2022 festival circuit. In 2018 Jaclyn was a fellow in NYWIFT's From Script to Preproduction Lab with her debut feature film, Steeped (FKA Someone to Watch), which is now in development. In 2013 she was highlighted as an Emerging Filmmaker to Watch in Miramax's Blog and additionally, was the keynote speaker at the 2016 Visions Film Festival & Conference.
To make ends meet, Jaclyn directs and produces branded and editorial content for companies like, Instagram, Bustle, Katie Couric Media, Delta, Genesis, Walmart and Spotify and recently launched a creative production company, Make it Heavy Productions.
