Swathi Reddy, a Russian-born Indian film actress and television presenter, is widely recognized for her versatile contributions to Telugu Cinema, as well as her notable roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. Popularly known by her nickname, Colors Swathi, she gained fame through her participation in the Telugu television show "Colours" on Maa TV in 1996.

Born to a navy officer father, Siva Rama Krishna, and a housewife mother, Indira Devi, Swathi spent her formative years in Visakhapatnam, where she completed her schooling at SFS High School. Her academic journey continued with a pursuit of biotechnology at St. Mary's College in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, marking the early stages of her life before venturing into the world of cinema.

Swathi's foray into acting began during her first year of college, making her debut in feature films with the Tamil hit "Subramaniapuram" in 2008. Initially, she played supporting roles, but it was her breakthrough role in the Telugu film "Ashta Chamma" that earned her critical acclaim, fetching both the Filmfare Award and Nandi Award for Best Actress.
