Last year, writer/director Justin M. Seaman brought us a sequel to his 1989-set slasher The Barn (check out my review Here, get the movie Here)… and now he’s working on wrapping up the trilogy with a film appropriately titled The Barn Part III! The Barn and The Barn Part II (get that one Here) featured genre icons like Ari Lehman (who played young Jason Voorhees in the original Friday the 13th), legendary scream queen Linnea Quigley, drive-in critic Joe Bob Briggs, Diana Prince (a.k.a. Darcy the Mail Girl), Troma’s own Lloyd Kaufman, and Hellraiser star Doug Bradley. The Barn Part III is also going to feature some familiar faces, as the cast includes Children of the Corn‘s Courtney Gains and Kelli Maroney of Night of the Comet and Chopping Mall!

Hot off the release of their indie horror hit, Murdercise, A & P Productions have begun pre-production on their new movie, Onlyfangs! The Indiegogo campaign is running now with the the main cast announced.

The film stars Drew Marvick (Pool Party Massacre) as the lovable monster hunter, Wes, who discovers a band of traveling vampires has moved into his town. Wes falls for manic pixie dream vampire, Reese (Kansas Bowing), while her sisters devour the local towns people. Lead by the ruthless Scarlett (Nina Lanee Kent), the band of vamps turn their attention to Wes and his conspiracy theorist friends. Fearing for his life, Wes helps the vamps develop an app to turn their victims into customers.

TetroVideo have announced the release of giallo horror Nightmare Symphony, the psychological horror The Bad Man and the shocking experimental dramatic art film Debris Documentar. Nightmare Symphony is coming to Blu-ray while The Bad Man and Debris Documentar are coming in a limited Digipack edition including a DVD and a Collector’s card: only 150 copies for The Bad Man and 300 copies for Marian Dora’s film are planned.

All three titles will be available for pre-order on June 1st.

Nightmare Symphony is a giallo horror film co-directed by Domiziano Cristopharo and Daniele Trani (Dop in “Across the River”). "For a clown named Giggles, you're not very funny..." Send in the, um, killers of clowns? An official trailer for a horror-thriller titled Kill Giggles has debuted online and it's, uh, quite a peculiar watch. The indie film claims to flip the "killer clowns" trope on its head and ask us: "But what if there was a serial killer Of clowns, terrorizing them with fear instead?" Not exactly reinventing the wheel, but it definitely is riding on the coattails of Joker. The director describes this as "a harrowing Hitchcockian horror story that will take a timeless terror trope and turn it on its rainbow wig-covered head." The film stars Michael Ray Williams as Tommy, with a cast including Ellie Church, Patrick G. Keenan, Nereida Velazquez, Felissa Rose, Vernon Wells, and Judith O'Dea. A new teaser trailer has debuted for Jonathan Straiton's (Night of Something Strange) Johnny Z. This zombie thriller was penned by horror creator Ron Bonk (She Kills). And, the film stars: Michael Merchant (House Shark), martial arts master Felix Cortes, Ellie Church (Harvest Lake) and many others. In this action thriller, one man holds the cure to a zombie epidemic. Johnny (Merchant) must find a missing doctor, before he can put the undead down (again). Johnny Z was developed by Hurricane Bridge Entertainment. And, a teaser trailer is available now, for the film. This title was funded through a successful Indiegogo campaign. Chicago – The Chicago film scene will be vibrating again on Friday, September 7th, 2018, when the new locally-made film “Skeletons in the Closet” makes its World Premiere at the Davis Theater in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. The horror movie is being presented by Cow Lamp Films, the Midwest’s first and only indie film/TV distributor, in association with Windy City Horrorama. “Skeletons…” screens at 9pm, get more details and ticket info by clicking here.

Directed by Tony Wash and B.A. Lewandoski, “Skeletons in the Closet” also is a late-night, horror anthology TV series in the film’s story, featuring The Widow and her dead husband, Charlie. Each episode finds them providing hilarious commentary on a variety of B-movie horror films – some of which are terrifying! Their number one fan, a precocious 11-year-old named Jamie, never misses an episode.

Tagline: "In 2018, You Will Say His Name." The Bad Man is the latest film from Indiana based director Scott Schirmer. Schirmer is known for his horrifying serial killer thriller Found (2012), Harvest Lake (2016) and Plank Face (2016). His latest was partially crowdfunded through Kickstarter. In The Bad Man, Ellie Church stars as Mary, a woman kidnapped by a sadistic clown. Pj (Jason Crowe) is also confined in a remote house. This young couple must find a way out of their dire situation, before auction day arrives. A Blu-ray version of the film will be available this Fall. And, the film's second trailer is hosted below. Only Kickstarter backers will receive the upcoming Limited Edition Blu-ray. This version includes Examination Sheets, an autographed character postcard and other goodies. Those not part of the Kickstarter campaign, can get a hold of another Blu-ray version in November. Though, this second version will also be limited in stock.
