- Alicia Rae Underwood was born in Dallas, Texas to parents Diana and Andrew Underwood. From a young age Alicia was performing for friends and family in self-directed skits and always had a video camera in hand. Her mother, Diana, toured with B.J. Thomas as a road manager at the height of his career until Alicia was born and her father, Andrew, was an Entrepreneur and business owner. These qualities and work ethics growing up is what gave Alicia the drive and persistence needed to pursue a television and film career.
After competing in a beauty pageant at the age of 10, Alicia's parents enrolled her in some of the top acting camps and workshops in the Dallas, TX area where she spent the majority of her summers and weekends, taking home "Actress of the Month" in her weekly acting class. From there she went on to book Regional commercials in local grocery store chains and Subway, and her first supporting role in a teen comedy movie. Lar Park Lincoln - "America's Audition Coach" discovered Alicia at an audition workshop and took her under her guidance and coaching to develop the star qualities needed for success in the Industry which opened the door for Alicia to play the girl-next-door ghost hunter Lily in her first-ever film/play hybrid titled, 'Ghost Party", alongside Lar Park Lincoln.
Upon moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time Alicia booked a leading role in the short comedy "You Wish" with Emmy-winning DP Sherri Kauk, which went on to place as a finalist at the Cannes International Film Festival. Alicia's additional credits are diverse and include the slasher, 'House Of Dolls' with Euphoria star Meeko Gatusso and Dee Wallace, from E.T. as well as her first guest star role in 'Vindication.' A faith-based series streaming on Amazon. She trains at MAD Acting Studio with Maximillian Decker and will wrap a family-friendly feature summer 2023 titled "Adam's Fire" with Chris Alvarez from The Terminal List.
