Daniella Alma was born in North London, England. Her father is English of Irish descent and her Mother is Colombian. After studying acting in London, Daniella continued workshops in Paris with American teachers, which led her to acting work in the United States. Daniella Alma has dual UK/US citizenship and resides in New York.
