Actor/Artist/Singer/Songwriter/Composer. Giovanni V. Giusti, A.K.A. (Jahni Sun Rea), wrote the lyrics and sang lead vocals on the hit song "Where We Go From Here", with the legendary "Godfather of Punk Rock", Tony Valentino of The Standells. Jahni Sun Rea, (Giusti), and Tony Valentino have known each other and worked together since 2010. Giusti calls Valentino The Godfather, and they are believed to be family. Giusti, earned a Bachelors of Arts ( B.A.) degree, from, The Ohio State University. As a Buckeye, he studied as an Actor, Film Maker, Music, Composition,Theatre, Production, Writing, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Glassblowing, Ceramics, and more. Giusti's fine art can be compared Picasso or Van Gogh, mixed with Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Musically Spirited, (Jahni Sun Reå) has greatly influenced by the works and Souls of John Lennon, Bob Marley, Woody Guthrie, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Fela Kuti. Jahni Sun Reå was quoted saying, " Music is my Medicine, Music is my form of Prayer, Music is my meditation, Music will heal the scars of Humanity among All Nations, while Harmoniously healing the Spirit of Our Mother Earth and beyond... In September 2009 Giovanni V. Giusti, began his professional acting career in Hollywood, CA. His intentions became the seeds for "The Spiritual harvest" through Southern Italy, Spain, and Ibiza. While living in Southern Italy, Sicily, and Barcelona, Spain, Giusti survived as a street performer for nearly 8 months, serenading and entertaining couples and families, armed only with his Spanish classical guitar, and his voice. He states, "Feeling the Pull" from his "Spirit Guides", he moved to the Island of Ibiza, where he met a tribe of international fine Artists, Musicians, and Actors.
Within a few days of living in Ibiza, Giovanni, was hired to rebuild a broken-down outdoor "Underground" Theater located in the middle of a Ibizanco citrus farm dubbed "The Almacen". Within two months of potent reconstruction, "The Almacen" was resurrected, and again became a popular source of inspiration for international underground Artists, Film Makers, Poets, Musicians, Art Dealers, Travelers, Local Ibizanco Tribesmen, neo-realists, Hippy intellectuals, and Critics throughout the World. This also became a venue to exhibit Giusti's early works as a filmmaker including short films such as "Boiling Toiling", and "Kogi". Giovanni V. Giusti won several awards for his Short Films while attending The Ohio State University Arts Department. Later in 2014, Giusti won several Awards for his Art, and given a Grant to live in NYC for his first Solo Exhibition at the the Astoria Queens Public Library, of New York City. All of Giusti's Art works from paintings, to ceramics, to glass blowing, we're all sold at this show at the New York City's, Queens Public Library.
Back to 2009, in Giovanni's travels in Spain and after the completion of "The Almacen" and 4 months of living in Ibiza, exhibiting his early Art works to the local/ international community, Giovanni once again and returned to Italy for a month. Giusti worked & lived in his Grandfather's ancestral village, nestled in the mountains of Abruzzo, just one hour outside of Rome. A few weeks later as advised by his "Spirit Guides", he departed from Rome, Italy, he "flowed like a wave" to Los Angeles, California. With "the spirits as my guides", he hitchhiked from Burbank to Hollywood, being driven by a man called Michael, who claimed to be "head advisor of the Screen Actors Guild". From 2010 through early 2012 Giusti studied with famed acting coaches, Janet Alhanti & Iris Klein, of Hollywood, California who taught him the foundation of presence and receiving.
Giovanni booked his first TV roles with in the first few months of 2010, and his major film roles in 2011 and 2012. Giusti, primarily works as performer, Yogi, volunteer, Spiritualist, and is known under the name Jahni Sun Reå. He travels throughout the World, spreading good vibes and positivity, always ready and willing to spread the message of " Peace, Love, Unity, Resepct...", and often promotes "...Music is my Medicine". Giusti has been known to be based out of Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District, and pursues careers in Acting, Music, Fine Art, Yoga, and Philanthropy.
