FARIBA SKOBIN was born in Tehran, Iran.
in the 1970s at young age , she performed in a couple of plays. During 1979 Islamic revolution, she left Iran for Canada, to complete her education. Her interest was in social Science. She continued to pursue her acting career, which eventually brought her to Los Angeles.
However, it was not easy getting work in Hollywood as a Middle Eastern actress with an accent. She started doing extras in 2003, then She had roles in 2009. She had more roles in feature, TV series, Documentary play and producing, and commercial, after she became SAG , and having an agent in 2012. She's still pursuing her dream which is acting.
