Born on a Wednesday in Houston, Texas, Homero was raised on a little border town in northern Mexico. He is a Mexican-American screenwriter, director, and producer. He left his home town at a very young age to move to Monterrey and pursue a career in film making, but years after, he moved to Los Angeles to study screenwriting.
