Heather Yzaguirre is a young writer and filmmaker currently based in
Seoul, South Korea. Having grown up a military child, she grew up
skipping around the globe, attending high school in Friuli-Venezia
Giulia, where her passion for writing began as a staff journalist for
the Stars and Stripes newspaper. She ended up at Florida State
University where she studied creative writing and film. She moved to
Seoul, South Korea in 2010 as an ESL teacher and soon after began
taking her passion for film to the next level by directing and
producing short videos, music videos, and finally short and feature
films. Her current short film, which is currently in-production, will
be featured in the Future Shorts Film Festival, Seoul in June 2013.
