  • (2013) The Lifeguard starring Kristen Bell and Mamy Gummer. Plays a troubled 16 year old, Little Jason, who is planning to escape his small hometown in Connecticut and move to Oregon with his two disturbed teenage friends. He lives in a small apt next to the pool his father, Big Jason, manages, where he casually meets the 30 year old lifeguard, Amy (Kristin Bell), who fled her NYC reporter job while writing a story about an abused Tiger. She arrives feeling happy to rediscover high school friends and memories, but her mother is irritated at her return while her father coddles her. At the pool where she sees Little Jason daily, she counsels him on growing up and the importance of getting his high school diploma. Over time, as they grow closer, little Jason unexpectedly kisses Amy passionately in the pool bathroom, culminating in an fiery sex scene against the sink. Their passionate relationship is doomed when her friend, Mel (Mamy Gummer) herself in a troubled marriage, finds out and threatens to report her to the authorities. In the end, Amy, who is returning to New York after receiving a prize for her Tiger story, gives the $1000 prize money to Little Jason to start a new life in Oregon.
