Valeria A. Leczycki Goncharova Barrett a.k.a. Valeria Goncharova Barrett is a Belarusian-born American award-wining fashion and costume designer, celebrity stylist and conscious lifestyle speaker best known in Hollywood for her colorful style and personal image expertise. She is a certified holistic life coach, book author, and an academically trained, contemporary artist and arts educator.
Valeria holds the Visual Arts credentials from Harvard University, Fashion Design and Business from New York Parsons School of Design, Graphic Design from the City University of New York, and Fine and Decorative Arts and Culture Management from Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. As the fine artist she works in her favorite mediums of pastels, charcoals, pencils, acrylic and watercolor.
After more than twenty-five years of experience in fashion, arts and entertainment industries, in the United States and Eastern Europe, Valeria gained a status of a trend-setter. Michael Jackson, Prince Lorenzo de' Medici, Whitney Houston, Joe Franklin, Gary Null, The Metropolitan Museum of Arts, Paramount Pictures, and The Walt Disney Company are just a few among some of her past work experiences.
Valeria had worked as a professional fashion model, actress, producer, writer, designer, stylist, manager, director, president, and more during her 30-year career in arts, entertainment, and fashion industries. She owned several businesses in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, including the recent, Fashion Consciousness brand. As the arts educator, she mentors the young artists and promotes the advancement of the fine arts in local communities of Los Angeles metropolitan area. She set on the Board of Directors for the Fashion Group International Los Angeles Chapter, and is an Honorary Member of the Beverly Hills Design Institute, and a Founding Member and a Patron of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
Valeria resides with her family in Southern California and continues to contribute her extensive expertise to private and public organizations that focus on promoting visual arts education worldwide. She is also actively involved in fund-raising initiatives that support unprivileged children and education charities.
