Michael Adegoke is a very humble and modest man who has accomplished many of his lifetime dreams. He is hailed and distinguished as the only African holding Five United States of America Regional Professional Ballroom Showdance Championships and a Fifth Place World Showdance Finalist position.
Early 2010, with the help of Sony Meme (CEO of Sony Meme Agency Company Nigeria), Michael Adegoke became a household name in Lagos Nigeria after appearing on the cover of a top ranking newspaper titled "The Guardian", The magazine is distributed daily to over 50 million readers and subscribers across Nigeria.
Late 2010, Michael collaborated with Nigerian Breweries and served 3 consecutive years as a lead judge on Nigeria's most popular family TV show titled Maltina Dance All (A Nigerian version of 'So You Think You Can Dance') and as a guest judge on Celebrity Takes Two (A Nigerian version of 'Dancing With The Stars'). The show multinational was seen on five major networks by over 30 million viewers making it the number one dance show in Africa.
Adegoke has modeled for over 12 years for top names like Aveda, Vandalism Designs, Sean Doyle, and Eugene Nichols Model & Talent Agency.
In 2012, With the help of Eeefy Ike Enterprise, Adegoke made his first acting debut supporting lead actors in major movies like 'The Active Shooter' directed by Actor Patrick Kilpatrick, 'The Unbreakable Sword' (starring Eric Roberts), 'Tragedy of a Mother and Son' (produced by Robert Amico), 'Only You and Me' (written by Peter Monger), and as guest star on many TV shows such as Castle, Tabloid (Kinyua the man eater), Hollywood Exes, Fast Track to Fame, Salsa Dance on KARE 11 to mention a few.
In 2014, Michael collaborated with the I Dream 4 All Foundation/ Dream Management (Beverly Hills) and Victor Olatoye to host the NAFCA show (AKA African Oscar Awards). During the event, Mr. Adegoke was honored by Patrick Kilpatrick and actress Jill Maria Robinson with two prestigious awards (Image and Humanitarian). The African Oscars had in attendance over 1000 celebrities from around the globe, including many world renowned guests like Sir Louis Gossett Jr., Blair Underwood, His Royal Majesty the Ooni of Ife (Representatives) and many others.
In 2015, Michael served as presenter on the same show and hosted the following year with Claudia Jordan from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Today Mr. Adegoke is the Host and Co-Founder of the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards in Hollywood California. ( A major Hollywood Award Show endorsed by the Mayor of Glendale CA Vartan Gharpetian.
Over a two-decade long career, Adegoke has collaborated, graced many Hollywood prestigious events and shared stages with mega stars like Late Prince (Paisley Park 1991), R&B Star Akon (RCE Tour 2008), Skip Martin (Kool & The Gang 2010 -2011) and Lani Misalucha ('VOICES' Las Vegas 2010).
In 2007, Adegoke founded the 'Mending Broken Children of the World' (mbcw) which, over many years has transformed the lives of many abandoned, HIV and underprivileged children across Africa. Today, the growing foundation has crisscrossed four countries in Africa - Nigeria, Uganda, Namibia, and Kenya.
Michael Adegoke has a Bachelor of Arts in Tele-communications and a Master's degree in Software Engineering currently in progress. He's currently venturing into acting, hosting shows while training for his 6th U.S.A. dance championship.
