Manifest Season 4 Episode 7 was an exhilarating hour of this NBC Netflix drama series. It really put Cal through the wringer, which is becoming a trend.

Every time things look up for him, it all comes crashing down.

His lack of desire to see a specialist about his condition was not unexpected.

He wanted the family to have peace after so much stress with Eden. Could you imagine if he didn't reach out to someone for help?

I'm going to assume his cancer has returned based on those final scenes alone, and it's heartbreaking knowing he has to go on the run for a crime he didn't commit.

Violet's death wasn't much of a surprise. Given the number of 828ers who have died, there can't be many more.

Ben: Look, I'm sorry I yelled at you last night.

Cal: Did something happen?

Ben: Anna Ross was murdered.

Neither Zeke nor Cal are in great shape as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode seven begins. Cal’s laid out on a couch on the Stones’ porch while Zeke (Matt Long) watches over him. Netflix’s Manifest season four episode three opens with Eden – quite the little artist – experiencing a Calling. Meanwhile, Ben (Josh Dallas) begs the police to reopen Eden’s case with no success.

The post-apocalyptic indie The Collapsed (still confused as to what that title refers to) has enough psychological thrills to mess with your head, as long as you can put up the with the sub-par acting. The story follows a classic nuclear family as they try to survive in a Walking Dead-esque world. But, instead of running from zombies, they are running from other men; or so it seems.

Jon Fantasia, who plays the patriarch, is the strongest of the actors, which is good considering most of the film hinges on him. The rest of the family is comprised of Steve Vieira as the son, who looks like the younger brother of Ringer’s Kristoffer Polaha (and whose acting is no less offensive); Anna Ross as the petulant daughter, who lost her boyfriend in the vague apocalypse and is worried that she’ll have nothing to do the rest of her...

After a successful limited theatrical release in Canada, Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired all Canadian home video/VOD rights to the post-apocalyptic horror/thriller The Collapsed, with a targeted release of early next year. The deal was brokered between Anchor Bay and sales agents Raven Banner Entertainment (as part of a three-film deal including action flick Bounty Hunters and thriller Neverlost).

This territory joins the four other countries that have acquired the film, including the already announced New Select in Japan. The three other distributors (for Us, UK and Germany) will be announced in the coming weeks. Unstable Ground is currently hard at work preparing extensive special features for the release.

Shot entirely on the Red 4K camera system, this dark thriller is bound to make an impact. The Collapsed is currently in post-production.

Justin McConnell's first feature flick comes in the form of horror drama 'The Collapsed'. And it's just gotten itself a shiny new one-sheet and a peek at a new trailer to celebrate the fact that it's production company Unstable Ground Inc are taking it along to the American Film Market (Afm) this week. The Afm is being held on November 3-10 in Santa Monica, California.
