- Brian Leahy is a Los Angeles-based writer, filmmaker, and editor. His most recent short film, "Made Public," starring Jeanine Mason and Josh Zuckerman, screened at more than 40 festivals and garnered more than a dozen awards, including the 2017 Emergence Award. Additional screenwriting credits include the award-winning short film "Waffles," also starring Jeanine Mason, which screened at more than 30 festivals around the world; the short film MIA, starring Xochitl Gomez, which premiered at Disney Studios; the web series "The Junior League of Super Heroes," which premiered at the Comic-Con Film Festival in San Diego; the short film "Ransom," which he also directed; and the short film "Proxy," which premiered at HollyShorts Film Festival in 2022. His latest dark comedy short, "5 Stages of Grief," was awarded the SHIFT Creative Fund grant in 2019.
Brian has also scripted two educational series: "The Noise in Your Head," a six-episode web series about anxiety, and "OCD & The 6-Moment Game."
