Geraldine Hakewill is an Australian actor, producer, singer and songwriter. She is best known for playing Chelsea Babbage in the Australian TV series Wanted and Peregrine Fisher in Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries. Hakewill was born in Paris, where her family was living temporarily while her father was working in tropical disease management. As a small child she lived in Geneva, Switzerland, then Chennai in South India so that her parents could practice meditation in an ashram. Hakewill graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. In 2018 she released an EP of original music. In 2022 she produced the award winning feature film The Rooster, starring Phoenix Raei and Hugo Weaving, written and directed by her husband Mark Leonard-Winter.
