While Tobin Ost is known for over a decade and a half of Art Department work on films such as Mildred Pierce (2011) and Gold (2016), he is equally if not more known for his work as a scenic and costume designer for Broadway, New York and other regional theatrical productions, most notably Disney's musical Newsies (2012), for which he garnered a Tony nomination.
