Originally from South Africa, Bianca Fortin discovered her passion for entertainment at a young age. Her journey began as a child actress, performing in theater productions and commercial television. After sailing to America with her family, Bianca continued to cultivate her artistic pursuits, landing a role in her early 20s on a TV series pilot, 'Mama Mia', produced by DirecTV in Florida. She subsequently interned with the production company, gaining experience across pre-production, production, and post-production. During this time, she developed and led a children's division, writing, co-producing, and directing a pilot show titled Newzies, followed by a made-for-television film.
In 2003, Bianca transitioned into casting for popular reality shows such as ABC's The Bachelor, American Inventor, ESPN's I'd Do Anything, and Shaq's Big Challenge. A career change brought her to the world of mega yachts, where she trained as a stewardess while simultaneously producing travel documentaries that chronicled her adventures.
Bianca's unwavering enthusiasm for storytelling drew her back to the film industry in 2013, producing the short film comedy Life and Death with director Gene Du Plessis. Their collaboration continued with Herringbone, a short thriller released in late 2019 that garnered numerous nominations and awards for Best Short Film.
Between 2019 and 2024, she volunteered on board the NGO Sea Shepherd ships and worked as a crew recruiter for their on board media crew- documenting conservation efforts.
Bianca continues to work on various film and television projects.
