Ivan Bernal is a Mexican Actor raised in Dallas, Texas with almost 20 years of professional acting experience in the fields: Film , Theater (30+ Productions in both English & Spanish from contemporary to classical theater) Television, V.O. Video Games and Commercials. Some of his recent credits include: A guest star role in ABC's The Rookie, A starting role in MARVEL's First ever Spanish podcast "WOLVERINE: LA LARGA NOCHE" with Joaquin Cosío out now on all major platforms and a supporting role in The Beta Test Film with a national release. Beta Test had its premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival directed by award winning Jim Cummings.
Ivan also guest starred in Telemundo's Soap Opera "Bajo el Mismo Cielo", Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider and was a series regular in Cine Sony's Mini Series Comedy: "La Vida Es Como el Cine". Ivan worked on Netflix's "La Casa de Las Flores - English Dubbing Seasons 1 - 3 and most recent "Zorro" by Amazon Prime. Being fully bilingual Ivan has been able to work in both markets both Commercially and Theatrically. National Campaigns & Commercials for major brands. Ivan was featured in the National Spanish Morning show by Univision: "Despierta America" on a two-day segment showcasing his experience in Hollywood as a Latino Actor.
Most recent Ivan participated in LATC's National Theater Festival ENCUENTRO 2024 with the classic "La Vida es Sueño" by Calderon de la Barca alongside 18 theater companies from across the U.S. and Mexico. In addition to acting Ivan is also a producer working in the fields of Audio Dubbing, Voice Over and ADR for over 9yrs. Ivan has also worked behind the camera as Producer's Assistant, Production Coordinator, P.A. & Casting Director for multiple projects. As theater producer Ivan produced multiple plays including: "All City" written by Carlos Sanchez, "Ave Maria" and the hit play: "Are you bringing something for Mexico?" directed by Juan Parada with a very successful run and great reviews among the Los Angeles Latino Theater Community with local and national press attention. Ivan was awarded the Sinergia Award for acting and the Best Performance in a Monologue by the Dallas Latino Theater Festival for his work on "Mi Jefe". Ivan Bernal also received a Recognition by The Los Angeles City Mayor Eric Garcetti and counsilmember 1st District Gilbert Cedillo for his contributions to the Los Angeles Arts and Culture.
