- Teresa Jusino (she/her) is a writer whose "happy place" is speculative fiction. Societal misfits are her specialty. Nuanced female characters come standard.
For over a decade, she has been a pop culture journalist, her work appearing in outlets like Tor, Jezebel, Latina Magazine, Teen Vogue, and The Mary Sue, where she was an editor from 2015-18 and is now a contributing writer and editor of TMS' weekly newsletter, 'The Clubhouse.'
Jusino has done development work at Topple Productions and is a member of the L.A-based theater company, Force of Nature Productions, through which she has produced, written, and directed several works.
In 2018, Jusino launched Pomonok Entertainment, a production company that aims to "save the world one story at a time." Pomonok has produced theater, podcasts, filmed content, and interactive fiction. Jusino was a Fellow in the Disability Belongs (formerly RespectAbility) TV Drama Writing Intensive 2024. She was a Finalist for the AMC One-Hour Pilot Competition at Austin Film Festival in 2022 and was a Fellow in the 2021 Disruptors TV Writing Fellowship.
