Usasi Mishra is a cinema entertainer who appears in Ollywood films. She made her acting debut in 1996 with the film Yashoda, but she rose to prominence with Sabyasachi Mohapatra's film Bou (Mother) in 2000. She has appeared as the key protagonist and lead character in several channels and serials, including Tarang Entertainment Chanel, Eastern Blue Opera, Eastern Media Entertainment, and Tarang odia. She was also a former Doordarshan National Health Magazine Presenter (DD1). Usasi Mishra was born in Murshidabad, India, on August 6, 1980. Usasi's greatest passion is traveling to new areas. She rose to prominence in Odisha cause of her skills and acting abilities in Odia films and Odia Jatra. She has appeared in around 30 films. These include four Bengali films, two Telugu films, and one Chhattisgarh movie.
She has also appeared on several advertisements on TV including advertisements for cleaning products and music video compilations. The television series Swabhiman was where she had been in the spotlight. After graduating from the city's Rama Devi Women's College in Zoology, she went on to earn a degree in Fashion Designing in 1995, followed by a diploma in Export Management a year later. She is now appearing in the Jollywood industry. She is still dazzling with her adaptive acting ability. On June 27, 2009, Usasi married Bengali entertainer Ratan Lakmani in the city of Kolkata.
Ratan is the son of Kolkata residents Narasal and Bhagyadevi Lakmani.
