Yui Shibata(I)

Yui Shibata was born in Hyogo, Japan. She started as a stage actress but moved to T.V. and movies, and it proved the right move. She studied acting at California State University, Fullerton, where she received her BA in Theatre Arts. Also, she has joined a theatre company Shakespeare Orange County as an actor/dancer and performed in many multicultural Shakespeare plays that Asian culture and Western culture mixed together. She knows many stage combat techniques as well as other languages. In her film actress career, her extraordinary performances has been celebrated after she starred in Remi award-winning film The God Chair. She also gave memorable performances in Stalking Elvis, Actors Life in Hollywood and Graduation. As her acting ability, she can play big range of characters. For example, she portrayed a seductive character, Lin on Emmy award-winning show The Bay. But she has also been highly acclaimed a funny and goofy character Keiko on the movie Witnesses.
