Biography

Puppetry has been experiencing somewhat of a renaissance. It's been reclaimed as a sophisticated form of art. The thing that's interesting about a puppet is it has no ego, whereas human actors do. You think, 'Who is this person standing in front of me?' There's a conflict, however small. When it's a puppet it doesn't give you that challenge. The empty vessel beckons your ego to help in the animating of it.
