There’s never been a better time to be a Star Wars fan, and that same logic can be applied to actors longing for a role in Lucasfilm’s far-away galaxy.
Thanks to the ongoing anthology series, which continues next year through Solo: A Star Wars Story, first-timers like Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover and Thandie Newton have all fulfilled their dreams to work under the biggest brand in entertainment. And it seems Andrew Lincoln wants to join Lucasfilm’s pantheon, too.
Last night, The Walking Dead veteran appeared on AMC’s two-hour Talking Dead special, in which Chris Hardwick and Co. presented a post-mortem of “Mercy” and its many twists and turns. And this being episode number 100, there was a tremendous amount of nostalgia coursing through the veins of Twd‘s season 8 premiere, with fans noticing a number of callbacks to days gone by.
