Exclusive: Filming is underway in Los Angeles on under-the-radar feature drama The Red Mask, starring Helena Howard (The Wilds), Inanna Sarkis (After), Jake Abel (Malignant) and Kelli Garner (Lars And The Real Girl).

The film marks the feature debut of Ritesh Gupta who has previously made commercials for brands including Budweiser and Beats. Writers are Samantha Gurash and Patrick Robert Young.

The synopsis reads: “When outspoken queer screenwriter Allina Green (Howard) is chosen to pen the final installment of legendary slasher franchise The Red Mask, anger, outrage and online death threats from die-hard fans causes a rift in her relationship with reticent fiancé Deetz (Sarkis). Desperate for a creative breakthrough, the pair escape to a secluded airbnb where Allina concocts a dangerous game for the two to play to unlock her writer’s block. But when two uninvited houseguests, Ryan and Claire, crash the scene, the weekend takes a dark turn.

Rourkela (Odisha), May 23 (Ians) Assam Hockey, Hockey Punjab and Hockey Chandigarh won their respective pool matches on the sixth day at the 13th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men’s National Championship 2023 here at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium here on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day, Assam Hockey defeated Tripura Hockey 27-0 in a Pool E contest. Rohit Yadav stood out to be the top goal-scorer for Assam Hockey as he opened the account for his side and scored ten goals.

Md. Isteyak Raja scored four goals to help his side maintain the lead whereas Amit Dayal, Ritik Patir and captain Neck Ali'(51′ 57′, 58′) scored three goals each. Ritesh Gupta scored a brace while Sobit Karki (10′) and Suraj Thakur (60′) contributed with one goal each.

New Delhi, Oct 30 (Ians) As celebrities like Tesla CEO Elon Musk promote the use of a diabetes drug to lose some extra kilos around your waist along with fasting, health experts on Sunday urged Indians to observe extreme caution while using such drugs to lose weight as the trend is now catching up fast in the country.

There are several anti-diabetic medications which can cause weight loss.

According to Dr Ritesh Gupta, Director at Fortis Cdoc Hospital for Diabetes and Endocrinology, Metformin is one of the oldest anti-diabetic drugs and causes a small amount of weight loss.

“There are newer medicines like SGLT2 inhibitors and AGLP1 agonists which cause a good amount of weight loss. A few of these medicines are approved for weight loss in the US. However, none of these medicines is approved for weight loss in India despite being available for treatment of diabetes,” Gupta told Ians.
