Hatton is best known for co-starring opposite Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali in Farrelly's Green Book.
Hatton was seen on stage with his cast-mates at The 91st Academy Awards when the film won the Oscar for Best Picture. His performance as the sarcastic bassist George won him a Hollywood Film Award for Best Hollywood Ensemble as well as a Vanguard Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
In 2022, Hatton reunited with Director Peter Farrelly to appear in The Greatest Beer Run Ever opposite Zac Efron and Russell Crowe.
In addition to acting, Hatton is a writer/director/producer and founder of production company, Ton of Hats. His company has produced over a dozen internationally released feature films including the Val Kilmer led comedic caper PayDirt and Paramount's Every Last One Of Them opposite Richard Dreyfuss and Taryn Manning, both of which Hatton co-starred in. He has produced many more with talent like Terrence Howard, Michael Jai White, Mickey Rourke, Christina Ricci, Michael Madsen, Taye Diggs, and Nick Nolte.
Mike is a former network TV reporter and known for his funny, conversational, and sarcastic style and his ability to insert humorous characters and voices on the fly. He is an alumnus of The Second City Conservatory and has further training from Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
He lives with his wife, Emmy Award winning reporter Kristine Lazar, and their 3 children in Los Angeles.
