- He was awarded the O.B.E. (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2008 Queen's New Years Honors List for his services to music.

- In Hollywood, Denzel Washington is Jazzy B's all time favorite actor.
- Music maestro, The Legendary Kuldeep Manak was his inspiration and also later on became his teacher and taught him music. Jazzy B gave the title of King Forever to Kuldeep Manak as a gesture of respect.
- Jazzy B is the first South Asian to be among the StarWalk inductees chosen by BC Entertainment Hall of Fame.
