David Wallace Marroquin was born in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico as David Marroquin Oseguera to Rafael Marroquin and Yolanda Oseguera. David is the third of four children.
At the encouragement of a high school counselor, David began acting at the age of 17. He later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, in London. His acting pursuits came to a halt when David was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 and 2005. Following chemotherapy, David was inspired to become a Los Angeles Police Officer, and joined the LAPD in May of 2007. Though he is a full time police officer, David continues to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
David is married to Mary Wallace and has two children, ages eight and four.
