Romina Caruana is an experienced Italian actress and writer, born and raised in Agrigento, Sicily. She has starred in numerous Italian movies, TV series and has an extensive theatre background. She lives in Los Angeles, and has recently completed work on her second novel. Her first was the critically acclaimed novel "The Dance of Souls", currently available on Amazon, which is under discussion to be produced as a movie. The book, based on a true story, has been highly praised for it's accurate depiction of the study of autism, as the story guides us through the complex autistic spectrum in this family based drama about unconditional love.
Romina has worked as an actress with actors like Harvey Keitel, Chaz Palminteri and Rowan Atkinson and with film directors; Franco Battiato, Roberta Torre and Jeremy Gantz. She also hosted the successful Italian fashion and entertainment TV program 'Opinion Leader'.
She is the Executive Producer on the 2018 feature film "Fourplay" with Tammy Blanchard, Dominic Fumusa and Bryan Greenberg.
She trained with renowned acting coach Susan Batson in New York and can speak three languages: Italian, English and French. She graduated with highest honors at the University of Palermo in Modern Languages and Literature.
Romina has worked as a journalist with the Italian Newspaper "IL Tempo", as an English Teacher at the Pacioli High School, in Palermo and as an English and French Teacher at the Pitagora High School, in Agrigento.
