Exclusive: John Stewart Muller’s thriller stars Mira Sorvino [pictured] and Cary Elwes.
Principal photography has commenced in New Orleans on Indiscretion.
John Stewart Muller’s thriller stars Mira Sorvino as Veronica, a psychiatrist who has an affair with Victor, a young sculptor who, when she calls off the affair, refuses to let go. The film also stars Cary Elwes, Christopher Backus and Katherine McNamara.
Written by Muller and Laura Boersma, Indiscretion is produced by Muller and Boersma for Granfalloon, alongside UK-based producers Alexandra Baranska, Kevin Lynch and Tim Rhys.
Epic Pictures handle international sales.
Boersma commented: “We’re asking questions about human nature and exploring how both men and women can be equally destructive. The combination of a compelling, suspenseful story with John’s strong directorial vision should create a sexy, smart, and timeless thriller that rises above the genre.”
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the producing team behind this exceptional script. Laura and John...

Think of Topher Grace (That 70's Show, Spiderman 3). Now think of indie horror vet Jeff Dylan Graham (Bloody Bloody Bible Camp). Now imagine if the two were crossed and you would get something, or in this case someone, resembling Kit Williamson. Still, there is something unquestionably unique and different about Kit compared to a lot of the other young hopeful actors who come to La in hopes of making it. In just a short amount of time, Kit Williamson has been featured in a variety of horror film productions including Last Halloween - a romance in the vein of Before Sunrise, but with a horror twist. There's also Opious, which could be described as a cross between The Evil Dead & Ghostbusters, & a role in Elisabeth Fies second feature length film - I Hate L.A. On top of everything, Kit Williamson will be joining the cast of my very own production - Drive-In Massacre as Trey.

A couple argue on Halloween night, after hours, about his cheating ways.
Sure, Last Halloween is competently shot. Sure, it's competently acted, but there's something missing. A connection with the characters is missing. A connection with what is happening to the characters is missing. A connection to the overall story is missing. What John Stewart Muller chooses to present with Last Halloween is a couple arguing back and forth. The viewer doesn't know why they're arguing or what over until the final frame. Since the viewer doesn't know exactly what is being argued over, being able to connect to the characters is problematic since the viewer doesn't know who to connect to or whose side to take. With the closing frames, it is revealed what it is that they are arguing over. If this had been...

Poor Brandon Routh. He caught the Superman curse. He played the Man of Steel in a big Hollywood thing and now... this was the best thing he got offered after that. A little would-be romantic, would-be sexy sex dramedy about annoying 20somethings that was shot in Kansas City and went almost straight to DVD. Okay, that’s mean. And I don’t mean to be mean. Because Fling -- it was called Lie to Me when it did the festival circuit and got a very limited release last fall, it’s now available on DVD in Region 1 -- has a few small things to recommend it. It looks great, in a stylish way that’s way more expensive than it’s clearly limited budget should have allowed. And it’s really fascinating, from a production-geek perspective, hearing director and cowriter John Stewart Muller and cowriter Laura Boersma talk on their...
