- Born March 11, 1963 in Fort Lee, Virginia, Joseph Warren Rohland was the sixth child of what would later become the family of eight children to Thomas and Dorothy Rohland. As a military family, the Rohlands moved around the country often, finally settling in Central Florida, thanks to the Cuban missile crisis.
Playing Little League baseball from the age of eight to sixteen, Joe imagined himself playing baseball professionally, but was "much too scrawny and pathetically weak and couldn't cut it." By the time Joe finished a four-year tour in the U.S.Army, HE had grown quite a bit stronger, but it was too late for pro-baseball as a career. While studying Radio and Television broadcasting at Valencia Community College, an old high school girlfriend introduced Joe to modeling and that turned into doing stage-plays, National commercials, and even television episodes. That was in the mid-1980s and Joe has been acting professionally ever since.
