Traynor started his career as a TV news reporter in Bluefield, West
Virginia. He also worked in TV news in Port Arthur, Texas, San Antonio,
Houston, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore and New York. He once
served as press secretary for Maryland governor William Donald
Schaeffer. Traynor also was part of the original team that launched
what is now Fox News, then went on to launch Bloomberg Television.
Along the way he also worked with PBS producing many national
broadcasts. Traynor is currently a producer, actor and co-owner of High
Eight Pictures, LLC with sons Ryan and Sean. The company produces films
and video on demand content.
