Dawn Carter worked as a Junior Production Executive at NBC Universal. She served as a
Production Executive for 20th Century Fox. Currently, is in pre-production on "32 SECONDS"
the Documentary and developing the feature films "Oh My Genie", "Dragonball Z Forever:"
and TV Series "Margin of Error".
Dawn Carter produced "Califia and the Timeless Sentries." Worked as Consulting Producer on "Supremacy" starring Danny Glover. Under the banner of her production company, Donlyn Productions, Inc, Carter created, directed, and produced "A Real Black Horror" (the short.) Carter created and sold a television pilot to BET, called "Love Brooklyn." she made her directorial debut with the short film "MY GENIE," Produced the independent feature, "Contradictions of the Heart." served as an Associate Producer on "The Funny Spot," starring Tony Rock, and "Soulmate," an award-winning documentary.
Donlyn Productions has also produced several Public Service Announcements for The Magic Johnson Foundation, A FOX Sports National PSA "African American Jockeys," for Black History Month.
Along with the FOX Diversity department, Carter created "The Fox Journey to Excellence Mentoring Program," an ongoing monthly education program, which helps foster academic, social and personal development for economically disadvantaged and high-risk students by introducing them to leaders in various fields of interest.
