Tristan Harvey
- Actor
-Tristan Harvey's interest in oral expression began in childhood, when his father read him storybooks and comic books, adopting a different voice for each character. Soon, he decided to read the stories himself to his father, who watched the parade of characters in amazement and delight. It was at this age, as he likes to repeat, that the idea of one day dubbing was born.
Later, he discovered theater as the ideal means of expressing his personality. He enrolled in drama classes at the Conservatoire Lassalle, as well as the Ateliers Danielle Fichaud.
But, caught up in the original idea of dubbing, he decided to continue his training at the Parlimage school specializing in dubbing. He soon began to lend his voice to commercials and documentaries. After making a name for himself with a few set directors, he landed a major dubbing role in the series Cold Squad, followed by a lead role as Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in "Les Horlogers du temps", less than a year after his debut.
From then on, his career took off. He lends his voice to several characters, including Seth Rogen, Ricky Gervais and Kevin James.
He also became the official voice of Télévision de la Francophonie (TV5). He can also be heard on Radio-Canada's "Bouledogue Bazar" and "Wizz", as well as in a number of commercials.
In parallel with his professional activities, he put his know-how at the service of the Quebec dubbing industry by becoming head of the team in charge of Doublage.qc.ca, a website backed by the Union des Artistes, and which has since become a reference for dubbing in the French-speaking world. He was also appointed head of the Comité de doublage du Québec, which coordinates actions to protect and promote the interests of its members.
