Darryl Jenifer

The bass player of legendary Washington DC punk band, 'Bad Brains'. Darryl began playing in the band when they first started in 1976 as a jazz fusion quartet under the name 'Mind Power'. In 1978 they focused their stylings on punk rock. Throughout the band's near thirty year existence, he and guitarist Dr. Know are the only members to have never quit the band. Singer, HR, and drummer, Earl Hudson left the band temporarily in favor of their 'Human Rights' reggae/dub side project.
