Carles Torras (Barcelona) is a producer, director, writer and founder of the production company Zabriskie Films. His productions have been selected and awarded at major film festivals including, San Sebastian, Tallin Black Nights, South by Southwest, BFI London, Sitges and Mar del Plata.
His latest productions are 'Upon Entry' (2023) premiered at SXSW and winner of FIPRESCI Prize at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival 2022, and Best Film at Kolkata International Film Festival 2022; 'The Paramedic' (2020, Carles Torras), a Netflix original film starring Mario Casas and Déborah François ranked TOP 2 worldwide; 'Callback' (2017, Carles Torras), winner of the Golden Biznaga Award for Best Feature Film, Best Script and Best Actor at the Málaga Film Festival
