Alexander D. Paul was born on September 20, 1986 in New London, Connecticut, USA. He is a cinematographer known for his work on Chef's Table: Pizza, Street Food: USA, and We Need To Talk About Cosby as well as numerous other projects. In 2019 he was nominated for a James Beard Award for his cinematography on "Street Food: Asia". After moving to Los Angeles in 2008, Alexander began honing his craft under the guidance of Emmy nominated cinematographer Will Basanta as well as former president of the American Society of Cinematographers, Michael Goi, ASC. His body of work spans nearly two decades and ranges from feature films to commercials.
