Ray Gower
- Writer
- Director
- Cinematographer
Although a keen filmmaker from a very early age, Ray Gower was initially sidetracked by various alternate career paths - he studied medicine for a year as well as undertaking a successful spell in the computer development industry - before eventually returning to his true passion where his professional directorial debut "Welcome Home" won three British TV Awards and much notoriety in the industry press.
Following this success, Ray soon became known for his many dark, dramatic and deeply emotive TV and cinema spots, garnering numerous awards and establishing himself as a prominent fixture on the London commercials scene. After writing and directing a handful of short films, he finally found the opportunity to direct his first feature film, Dark Corners (2006), starring Thora Birch, which premiered at the AFI Fest to great reviews.
Today, with a number of screenplays in option and a major TV series in development, Ray Gower is preparing to direct his next movie, The Chronoscope.
