- Carlos David Rivera is an award-winning, Cuban-American filmmaker from Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, Carlos edited the documentary series "Messi's World Cup: The Rise of a Legend" for AppleTV, before that he was co-editor of 2020 Sundance award-winning film "Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado" and also served as producer and editor of "Leave the Bus Through the Broken Window" which premiered at SXSW and CPH:DOX in 2019.
Carlos won an Emmy Award as producer in the "Outstanding Special - Special Class" category for his work on "Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word," a television documentary about trans youth, which was also nominated for a GLAAD Award in the "Best Documentary" category. He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy in the "Outstanding Picture Editing" category for his work on Project Runway All Stars.
