Raisa Frichinskaya(1924-2010)

Raisa Frichinskaya is script supervisor and editor of the Soyuzmultfilm studio, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation (1987). Member of ASIFA. In 1949 she graduated from the film faculty of VGIK. From 1949 Frichinskaya worked as a junior researcher at the cinema fund of the State Film Fund of the USSR. From 1952 she was the script editor of the literary editorial staff of the All-Union Radio Committee. Participated in the creation of more than 200 cartoons. Worked with directors Fyodor Khitruk, Boris Stepantsev, Vladimir Popov, Andrey Khrzhanovskiy, Vadim Kurchevskiy, Lev Atamanov, Efim Gamburg, Ideya Garanina, Stanislav Sokolov, Eduard Nazarov and many others. Took part in the development of animated magazine for preschoolers Veselaya Karusel (1969). Raisa was the wife of actor Lev Frichinsky.
