Franklin most recently exec-produced the animated film The Star, with stars like Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry and Michelle Rodriguez lending their voices. It is the first faith-based animated film to be released by a major Hollywood studio since The Prince of Egypt. He also produced the highly successful film Miracles From Heaven starring Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah, made for a modest $15 million, it grossed $73 million at the world-wide box office to date, making it one of the top-grossing faith-based films of all-time. Franklin began preaching at the age of 15 and begin interning for Will Smith at the age of 18.
