After Tag's public drunken outburst in the previous episode, the situation has gone viral online and Greer's in a public relations crisis. They plan to tell everyone that Tag has a drinking problem and will check himself into a program to receive help.

Relationship problems are going around, but not for Amelia and Benji who have seemed to patched things up but aren't getting back together. Thomas leaves early to "go for a run," but Abby lies in bed not particularly believing her husband. Of course, he meets Isabel at the Sand Dollar, and after their hookup, she asks him for her money. When he's later confronted by Abby, he denies his affair.

Amelia learns from Greer that Merritt had barbiturates in her system at the time of her death and shoots down suggestion that Merritt was a recreational drug user.

Now at the halfway point of the limited series, The Perfect Couple episode 4 begins with the Coast Guard searching for Will and Chloe since they have gone missing. Meanwhile, Amelia's back at the police department chatting with Detective Henry about more Winbury family secrets, and they are the juiciest yet.

She's brought the bracelet Merritt was wearing the night of her death, the one gifted to her by Tag. Amelia's convinced, or at least working on a hypothesis, that the whole Winbury family could be in on it since Tag knew Merritt was pregnant. The other bombs she drops are the NDA revelation and Tag's past affair gone bad with Will's French tutor.

Of course, the whole series has revolved around the big question: Who killed Merritt Monaco (Meghann Fahy)? You might think the fall TV season spirit only exists on the broadcast networks, but if you just take a closer look at the full list of Netflix new releases coming in September, you'll see they're getting in on the fun, too.

Keeping in line with Netflix's star-studded summer of movies, the streamer's new shows in September boast some of the biggest stars around, including Nicole Kidman in the beach-read murder mystery The Perfect Couple and Kristen Bell co-headlining the romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This with Adam Brody. Oh, and Emily in Paris is back for more drama also.

Move out of the way, Bridgerton. There's a new royal family in town! Netflix has a new Indian romantic drama series slated to come out soon called The Royals, and it will tell a modern-day love story between two people from very different social classes: a Prince and a startup whiz.

Obviously, the show's plot is interesting enough to pull you in, but wait until you find out who's in the cast! On Aug. 14, Netflix revealed the official cast via a cast announcement video, and we instantly recognized some familiar faces. You can check out the video above.

Well-known Indian actors Ishaan Khattar and Bhumi Pednekar take on the leading roles of an entitled Prince and a startup whiz. You might've watched Khattar in the romantic drama film Dhadak, the masala film Khaali Peeli, the supernatural comedy flick Phone Bhoot and the biographical war film Pippa.

Over the years, some of Netflix's best shows have been limited series. The Queen's Gambit, Maid, Fool Me Once, and Dahmer are just a few examples of the most popular Netflix shows of all time. Well, lucky for us, there are so many Netflix limited series that are still to come in 2024!

Netflix has just released the teaser trailer for their upcoming limited series about a mystery that surrounds the impending rich in-laws of a bride-to-be. The Perfect Couple sports an all-star cast for an ensemble show, which includes Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Jack Reynor, Ishaan Khatter, Meghann Fahy, Sam Nivola, Michael Beach, Donna Lynne Champlin, Mia Isaac, with Liev Schreiber and Isabelle Adjani. It’s brought to us by writer and showrunner Jenna Lamia and is based on the book by author Elin Hilderbrand.

What could go wrong in one of the wealthiest perfect families on Nantucket? Netflix has dropped the trailer for “The Perfect Couple,” an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s eponymous murder mystery book.

Set to Franki Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” the trailer sees novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Nicole Kidman) and her husband Tag Winbury (Liev Schrieber), the heads of a seemingly perfect family. Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) is set to marry into their wealthy clan.

Greer (Kidman) is the mom of Amelia’s fiancée Benji Winbury (Billy Howle) and has expensed their wedding, set to be the toast of the season. But, it seems like the family has some secrets buried.

“The key to this family is just stay on the periphery,” Abby Winbury (Dakota Fanning), Benji’s sister, tells Amelia. “Where it’s safe.”

But, before the pair’s nuptials, a body turns up on the beach.

India’s Zee Studios has set a late November theatrical release for “Dhadak 2,” a romance film challenging societal norms.

The film is a sequel to 2016 hit “Dhadak,” that was itself a Hindi remake of the Marathi film “Sairat.” The 2016 title starred Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, as well as the late Sridevi.

The new film is directed by Shazia Iqbal and stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. Plot details were scarce, though Zee teased it with the logline: [the film] “explores barriers of class and status stitched in the minds of societies, underscoring a narrative of love that can never be fulfilled. Or can it?”

Production is by Zee Studios, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and Cloud 9 Pictures and is slated for release on Nov. 22, 2024, a slot that falls neatly between Diwali and Christmas.

Mumbai, June 23 (Ians) Director, writer and songwriter Vishal Bhardwaj has clinched the Cannes Lions – Bronze for his short romance musical film ‘Fursat’ in the ‘Entertainment Lions for Music Branded Content for Music Use of Original Composition’ category.

Vishal Bhardwaj who directed, wrote the script had also written the music for the film. Taking to Instagram, he captioned: “Such an honour to win the Cannes Lions – Bronze for my music in #fusrat.”

The short film was shot on iPhone 14 Pro.

Expressing his delight at receiving the award, Vishal Bhardwaj said in a statement: “Receiving a Cannes Lion bronze is prestigious and getting it for my music makes it more heartfelt. A big thanks to the jury and to Apple for their collaboration.”

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is reportedly remaking anti-caste filmmaker Mari Selvaraj’s critically acclaimed Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. According to reports, actors Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri have been cast as the main characters. While it was reported that the film has been titled Dhadak 2, Karan Johar had earlier denied making any film with that title. Pariyerum Perumal, released in 2018, dealt with the issue of caste oppression. A young first generation student from a Dalit community, who aspires to become a lawyer, is subjected to severe humiliation and violence because of his caste identity. His caste identity haunts him in every sphere. The story is set in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, one of the regions notorious for caste atrocities against the Scheduled Caste communities. This debut film by Mari Selvaraj received critical acclaim for its powerful storytelling and realistic portrayal.
