Dune: Prophecy is an ensemble series with actors from various backgrounds. Telling the story of the creation of the Bene Gesserit, the show features a leading cast including Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds, Travis Fimmel, and Jodhi May. The Dune franchise show got decent reviews overall, and recently wrapped up its tenure on Max. The primary cast members in the show are women, but Australian-born cast member Fimmel is one with an interesting career history. "We all have to face ourselves sooner or later..." Gravitas has debuted an official trailer for a peculiar indie sci-fi film titled Two/One, also written out as 2/1. The film is about two men from opposites sides of the world who are connected - when one sleeps, the other one is awake. It seems to be inspired by Your Name, the body-switching anime sensation, but with a more dramatic premise. When the two different men finally meet, a simple question arises: Who is the dream and who is the dreamer? Ah yes, the age old philosophical question. "They slowly begin to realize that they might be dreaming each other. They are, in some strange way, the same person." Starring Boyd Holbrook, Song Yang, Dominique McElligott, Beau Bridges, Zhu Zhu, and Anna Van Hooft. This looks slick, but seems the concept was too ambitious to fully realize. Here's the official trailer (+ two...

"Oh this is so twisted." Vertical Entertainment has debuted the first red band trailer for a romantic dramedy titled Crash Pad, about a "hopeless romantic" slacker who falls for an older woman. Domhnall Gleeson stars as Stensland, with the main cast including Christina Applegate, Nina Dobrev, Thomas Haden Church, Anna Van Hooft, and Anja Savcic. The twist in the plot (which is mentioned in the synopsis so not really a spoiler) is that he discovers the woman is actually only with him to get revenge on her husband. But when he tries to blackmail her by saying he'll tell her husband, the plan backfires and the husband moves in with him, taking on his lifestyle. Ugh. This seems like one of those super pretentious "you need to learn a lesson, young boy!" kind of films. I'm usually a fan of Domhnall, but he just seems too cheesy to me. Here's...
