Chaitanya Chopra

Chaitanya is an Indian screenwriter known for his work on the series Bambai Meri Jaan, a gangster crime drama produced by Excel Entertainment, and Dahaad, an original investigative thriller jointly produced by Tiger Baby Films & Excel Entertainment. Both shows were released on Amazon Prime Video in 2023, and were well-received by audiences and critics alike. Prior to his writing career Chaitanya worked as Chief DA to filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker on the patriotic period epic Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. He has also completed an immersive one-year filmmaking program at The Los Angeles Film School, followed by an internship at the prestigious Hollywood studio, Columbia Pictures Story Department. His original feature sample screenplay titled Kumaon reached the quarterfinals of the competitive Academy Nicholls Fellowship Screenwriting Competition, which is conducted annually by the Oscars. Chaitanya has developed an original feature for Maddock Films.
