Nicol Razon

Nicol Razon is a film, stage, and musical performer. As a producer, she brought Stripping Shakespeare to a small screen format, playing Kate as an exotic dancer in the Taming of the Shrew adaptation for the four part series. A physical performer trained in Commedia dell'Arte and Butoh, she enjoys practicing martial arts like Capoeira, and rock climbing. Most recently, she recorded vocals for the rock band Wey, whose new album is set to release in 2021. She headlined shows as front-woman with funk-rock band Mantis Jackson in 2019 and 2020. Lyrically, she debuted the role of Queen Hermione in the Utah stage debut of new musical, Perdita (2018). She's a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Utah's Actors Training Program earning her B.F.A. while minoring in International Policy and Ethnic Studies.
