Zitlali Vargas

Zitlali Vargas, first camera assistant and focus puller, born in Mexico City with experience in the camera department since 1999. She studied Collective Communication Sciences at the University of Costa Rica. In 2000, she worked in the National Radio and Television System of Costa Rica and in that country she began operating camera.
Later, back in Mexico City, she was in charge of the camera department of Servicios Fílmicos rental house where she worked for some years.
Since 2005 she's worked as 1st AC/Focus Puller in a wide variety of projects ranging from Advertising and Musical Video Clips, to Documentaries, Television Series and Feature Films, giving higher preference to these last ones and has participated in more than twenty national and international feature films.
Zitlali has given different training and workshops on documentary video and camera assistance. She's currently based in Mexico City.
