Courtney is a writer-director-producer with Midwest and East Coast roots. After studying theater and earning her bachelor's degree in Art History from UCLA, she began writing and performing sketch, improv and stand-up comedy while studying and performing at Upright Citizens Brigade, iO West and The Groundlings.
After years of creating and producing live theater comedy shows, she now focuses her work behind the camera on narrative storytelling.
She is an alum of the mentoring programs with WIF , Project Mentor and is an American Zoetrope screenplay contest quarter finalist.
