John K.D. Graham has been captivated by stories since a young age. His passion for the fine arts and drama led him to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he discovered the art of film making. With this medium, he combines love of story with creative collaboration to tell tales that examine our humanity. From production assistant to Producer/Writer/Director of feature films, he has held many positions within the industry and understands the nuance of how cinema is made. He has taken his own feature films from conception to completion, as well as added creative insight to the works of others. John's feature films and docu-series can be found on major distribution platforms around the world.

John believes in gender equality and his films champion women both on and off the screen. His films "At Your Own Risk", "Switched" and "The Greatest Inheritance" have all received the ReFrame Stamp, which is awarded to narrative and animated features that hire women or individuals of other underrepresented gender identities/expressions (including those who are non-binary or gender non-conforming) in four out of eight key roles including writer, director, producer, lead, co-leads, and department heads. Additional points are awarded to productions that hire women of color in key positions, and to those with overall gender parity in their crew.

John's understanding of cinema in its entirety allows him to develop, coordinate and bring to finality any project he takes on.

John's deep love for travel has given him the opportunity to shoot across the United States and the world, creating docuseries and online content.

An understanding of how Cinema is created, from conception, through development, pre-production, shoot, edit and final delivery to the client has enabled him to craft beautiful projects.

Having attended film school at the Savannah College of Art and Design, John learned how to use the gear and programs necessary to make films on his own.

This was important as he no longer needed anyone's permission to make content.

John has Directed and produced 7 feature films which can be found across multiple platforms and have been released by Universal Home Entertainment, PureFlix and RLJ Entertainment. Some examples of his directing / cinematography can be seen in five travel docs, a web series for CBS and episodes of true crime for Real ID Channel, as well as many instances of online content.

His shoots have taken him to the Kingdom of Thailand, Norway, Peru, Mexico, all 60 states of the USA, and include national parks and monuments.

John was one of the founders of Mustard Seed Entertainment and the films branded under that label.

His script, "Switched" won best screenplay at the Kairos Pro Awards as part of the Movie Guide Awards.

His recent P.A. Bootcamp class for his Alma Mater, The Savannah College of Art and Design, was well received. Students reported a 60% increase in confidence from previous classes and 95% confidence from John K.D. Graham's P.A. Bootcamp in their own ability to become a PA for the first time.

Quotes from Bootcamp class attendees:

The lingo and how to read call sheets. I was always nervous about becoming a PA or working in the Film and Television because there is so much information you need to know. Now knowing/ understanding a little more, I feel more confident and excited to work as a PA.

The most important thing I learned is how the radios work and how to not look like a "newbie."

John resides in New Mexico, with his partner, Lava Khonsuwon and a menagerie of animals, where he creates films under his company, Raven Crow Entertainment.

The Eau Claire Crush and Predators are both going to appear in the film. We picked Olson's because it's a Chippewa family type tradition. We really wanted the Elijah Project to include as many local places as we could and integrate the community.
