Santiago Benet Mari Was born in Santurce Puerto Rico on April 13 1981. Studied in a Escuela Central de Artes Visuales, then on the Drama Department of the University of Puerto Rico. Started his career as a Lighting designer for theatre, modern dance and ballet. Then found deep interest in film and thru the path of lighting department became a cinematographer.
