I had never heard of Nicola Fiore, the daughter in Slaughter Daughter, prior to watching this film, but she is obviously a very talented actress. Her performance as the film's troubled protagonist is electrifying and magnetic, and she has the ability to remain relatable even when venturing into the most extreme emotional and psychotic territory. Her performance in this film can best be described as daring, as she bravely marches into the kind of dangerous territory that other actors are afraid to approach from ten feet. She is also absolutely gorgeous, and has a certain glamour to her, which is most apparent when she's covered in blood and slaughtering her family. Not only does Fiore have scream queen written all over her, but she is one Hell of an actress.

Yes, they say childbirth is the most amazing experience a woman can have. However, if the spawn coming forth was sired by a flesh-eating demon, that tends to take some of the joy out of the occasion. Check out the teaser for the After Birth.

I can already hear Uncle Creepy doing the dance of joy. His favorite filmmaker, Ron Bonk, has a new movie coming to DVD in April. From the maker of all-time classic Strawberry Estates comes Ms. Cannibal Holocaust, a terrifying tale of urban cannibalism and one woman’s violent revenge against these maneaters.
That’s right. Not Cannibal Holocaust. It’s Ms. Cannibal Holocaust. I guess like Ms. 45 except she’s getting revenge against cannibals. I’m no lawyer so I won’t even speculate on the slippery slope legality of that title. Be kind of like making a movie called Ms. Paranormal Activity.
Kellyn Lindsay, Nicola Fiore, and Wes Reid star in Ron Bonk’s tale of a mysterious woman who shows up seeking revenge against a cult of cannibals dressed like Phantom of the Mall terrorizing the tenants of a slum.
Synopsis:

Fango just got word of a new feature called Horrotica (no relation to our own upcoming Fangorotica) that starts principal photography this week in the New York/New Jersey era. Produced by Laughing Duck Media, it’s a horror/comedy directed by Marc Leland and starring a bevy of indie fright-flick starlets and stalwarts, headed by Tiffany Shepis (pictured).
Shepis plays B-movie actress Gina Sklar, whose attempts to track down stolen footage from her latest flick with the help of her number-one fan (Tim Mandala) lead her into some scary situations. The cast also includes J. Edmund Ford (as a producer named Lonzo), Flesh For The Beast’s Ruby Larocca, Penny Dreadful’s Tina Krause, busy newcomer Nicola Fiore, Carl “Doc” Burrows and The Blood Shed’s Alan Rowe Kelly. Frequent Kelly collaborator Tom Burns is doing the music, while Blood Night: The Legend Of Mary Hatchet’s Jeremy Selenfriend handles the makeup FX.

German filmmaker Timo Rose gave Fango the exclusive first look at the teaser for his latest flick, Game Over (which we first reported on here). You can check out the splattery preview below.
Rose reports that the movie is currently in production, and is even more explicit than originally conceived. “I’ve changed the script,” he tells us, “and it is even more bloody and disturbing. I added tons of gore, torture scenes, etc. Lloyd Kaufman and Troma are now co-producing this flick, along with Uncut Movies from France.”
Originally announced Debbie Rochon has been joined in the cast by Raine Brown and Nicola Fiore, “and I’ll play a small role too,” Rose adds. “Horror director Mike Mendez may make a special appearance too, as he did in [Rose’s previous movie] Beast; he said yes to that, but we’ll see.” Rose’s MySpace page for Game Over can be found here.
