Frieren: Beyond Journey's End , a currently broadcasting TV anime based on the fantasy manga of the same name, has published three more short character preview videos, introducing three more mages including Wirbel (voiced by Kisho Taniyama), Ehre (voiced by Kanae Ito), Denken (voiced Jiro Saito). The series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll as part of the winter 2024 anime simulcast lineup. The original Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga is written by Kanehito Yamada, illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, and serialized in Japan by Shogakukan in their Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. An English language version is available from Viz Media. Keiichiro Saito directs the TV anime at animation studio Madhouse. Bastard -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy- is an animated series based on the outstanding Bastard!! manga series, written by Kazushi Hagiwara and featuring that genuine blend of humor and violence that has captivated millions of fans around the world.

The first part of the series was directed by Takaharu Ozaki at Liden Films. The anime premiered on Netflix on June 30, 2022, with the first 13 episodes. The remaining episodes, from 14 to 24, premiered on September 15, 2022.

The animated TV series Sword Art Online has been a massive success, as have the novels, and now an animated film has been announced, Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale which you can only hope will continue to push the franchise closer to the mainstream.

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, based on the smash hit light novel series published by Kadokawa’s Dengeki Bunko boasting worldwide sales of 19 million copies, is set for its global premiere in spring 2017.

In partnership with the Kadokawa Corporation, Skydance Media, a U.S.-based diversified media company, has acquired the worldwide live-action rights for Sword Art Online.

Having already spawned a comic book series, two TV anime adaptations, and video games, and with its first theatrical film, Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, set for worldwide release in spring 2017, this marks Sword Art Online’s first foray into live-action television. It will be developed as a TV series based on the storyline of the original series.
